
In what can be termed as the most dramatic match of Serena Williams career so far, she defeated Daniela Hantuchova in a tight three setter 6-2 6-7 6-2 in the fourth round of Wimbledon.
Suffering with severe cramp in the second set, Serena makes a tremendous fight back in the third set to book quarterfinal birth in the Wimbledon. This victory means that Serena will now face world number 1 Justin Henin in the next round. Though, Henin has never won a premier grass court event but she is looking pretty focused this time around. And with Serena still feeling the after effect of cramp, Henin is firm favorite to win the quarterfinal match.
Earlier, Serena Williams started the match convincingly by winning the first set 6-2. In second set, it was tight all the way but Daniela Hantuchova played big points better and therefore won the set in the tie braker. Injury to Serena also played a part in this set. But Serena made a miraculous comeback in the deciding set, showing no side effect of injury.
