Ferrari has come back with a bang! After a dismal performance in the last two races, not only Ferrari was quicker at French grand prix but also Mclaren struggled with engine and tyre problem. Kimi Raikkonen won the race for Ferrari while Felipe Massa grabbed the second position.
Though, current championship leader Lewis Hamilton managed to finish in the third place but world champion Fernando Alonso finished seventh, another body blow for this year title hope.
Earlier, Massa was firm favorite to win the race after attaining a pole position in Saturday. He started well but long pit stop spoilt his chances. On the other hand, Kimi got the free track and notched up some fastest laps on a dusty track of French grand prix. BMW Sauber also performed admirably with both Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld scoring points. Jenson Button scored his first point of the season, finishing eighth.
