Burress unrelenting success for the NFL’s New York Giants includes, five catches for 86 yards, a 33-yard touchdown in team’s last run of 24-17, which proves crucial in the Giants passing game, especially if they are involved in a shootout on Sunday’s game with the Eagles, who scored 56 points against Detroit last week.
A day ago the Giants were made to think over Burress at recommendation of the team doctor to have his troublesome right ankle examined. As for now they can have a respite as their most dynamic player this season, is back and is expected to play.
Having been advised to remain limited in practice, Burress said:
My attention to details has to go up a little higher, my focus has to go up a little higher. Because I’m probably going to be a half-step slow, that means I have to do a little more studying to get as many advantages as I can.
Burress played through painful sprains for most of the last season, missing only one game, and finished with 63 catches for 988 yards and 10 touchdowns, but it seems that the wide receiver can well counter and play through injuries.
