Last week we have told here that Leander Paes is the only Indian who maintains his supremacy at Wimbledon this year. The tennis maestro has reached semi-finals in the men’s double pairing with Martin Damm of Czech Republic.



The seventh seed pair outplayed seeds Paul Hanley of Australia and Kevin Ullyet of Zimbabwe 7-6 (8), 6-7 (5), 6-7 (5), 7-6 (7), 6-2 in a rain-hit quarterfinals match. They took more than four hours to win the match.



Now, the Indo-Czech combine will face winner of the match between Fabrice Santoro-Nenad Zimonjic and Jonas Bjorkman-Max Mirnyi in the semifinals match.



Eight seeded, Sanam K Singh of India lost his run in the third round of Boy’s singles when he went down to Russian Arthur Chernov 6-2, 6-3.
