Indian ace Paes and Kirilenko overcame third seeded American duo of Meghann Shaughnessy and Mike Bryan 6-3, 1-6 and 6-2 to face the French pairing of Severine Bremond and Marc Gicquel in the second round.





Sania already out of single’s contention mixed was also out of mixed doubles with her shameful defeat at the hand Martina Navratilova and Bob Bryan. The US pair could easily sidelined the Indo-Aussie out-fit 6-0, 6-4 at the Roland Garros.
