He was thrilled after he won his first F1 title, it’s just fantastic. I’ve been working so hard through my whole career to get to this moment, when you spend your whole career getting to F1 and when you get there and win your first race, it’s just amazing, I always dreamed to be a Ferrari driver and to win my first race for Ferrari is definitely something special for me, he said.



Massa first came into the F1 in the year 2001 after he won the F3000 European championship. In 2003, he replaced Kimi Raikkonen to join the Sauber team. There he drove cars using second-hand Ferrari engines. Ferrari made him a test driver in 2003. This season he replaced Rubens Barrichello and is now racing for Ferrari. Nevertheless, he has won the Turkish Grand Prix; the Brazilian’s spot on the Ferrari team is still not secure.



He will face a stiff competition from Alonso and Schumacher for a podium finish in the Italian Grand Prix. He will definitely has to give a good performance in the remaining fixtures if he wants in the contention of driving Ferrari next season.
