Indian juniors have emerged as the champion of the Under-21 Six-nation Invitational Hockey Tournament at Gniezno, Poland overtaking the hosts 3-0 in the final.
They got the full 15 points from their five matches. In the high-tensed final match with host Poland, the Asian giants took 1-0 lead in eighth minute of the game.
Sardara Singh was the player to score the first goal. Raghunath taking full opportunity of a penalty spot brought second goal for India. Captain V Raja who performed well through out the tournament gave third goal in the 44th minute.
Earlier, India routed Pakistan, Czech Republic, Russia and Germany.
