Indian under-21 hockey team has engraved yet another resounding victory in the six-nation under-21 invitation hockey tournament in Gniezno, Poland. They overtook Russia 10-2 in their third match. With this commanding victory, India tops the table. It will now take on Germany in the next match.



In their third game, the Indian juniors produced a superb performance in every department. Forward Gurwinder Singh Chandi scored three goals while captain V Raja and Raghunath slammed two goals each. Other three goals came from Yoga Singh, Roshan Minz and Ajitesh Rai.



Earlier, Russia started with attacking approach and took lead in the sixth minute. However, it could not able to maintain the rhythm. Russia dashed their second goal in 44th minute. Earlier, India defeated Pakistan 4-0 and Czech Republic 12-0.
