Miami Heat, which had been without its two best players - Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade for the major chunk of the season, has picked gear since Shaq’s return.

Shaquille O’Neal and Antoine Walker scored 20 points each as Heat topped the Cavaliers 94-90 to earn a spot for themselves in the Eastern Conference playoffs. LeBron James was the pick for the Cavaliers’ scoring 35 only to find it vain as the side slid from the second to the fifth spot in the Conference standings.

The draft is so intense in the League that Miami Heat didn’t get a chance to celebrate after clinching a playoff berth, as they were shortly placed against Boston Celtics. Shaquille O’Neal was back in massacre form as he scored 22 points and 11 rebounds to help Heat dump Celtic 88-85.

Heat has won five of its last seven games and has materialized into a force to reckon with, picking up its momentum going into the post-season.
