Elated with his consistency, Djokovic said
I’m really happy that people are talking positive things about me. It’s just motivation for the future. My goal is to be the No. 1 player. I’ve been working for that all my life. And still I’m just 20, so I have a lot of time left.
Meanwhile, in women’s semifinals, top seeded Belgian Justine Henin would cross sword with Venus Williams while fourth seeded Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova meets compatriot and sixth seed Anna Chakvetadze.
