All those little things that had gone right for the Houston Astros in the past nine games came to an abrupt end in a hard-luck sixth inning against the Atlanta Braves.

For Roger Clemens this would be the final start of his career... The 44-year-old veteran who has won seven Cy Young Awards in his long and what indeed has been an illustrious league career... looked off standards... As the Braves put Astros’ nine-game winning streak to a halt, hurting the Astros’ postseason hopes.

Clemens was playing the first game against the Braves... He received standing ovation from the crowed something he has always got and well deserved... But was unable to live up to their expectations... Atlanta’s Chuck James went on to praise the veteran saying,

I’ve got a lot of respect for that man, Having represented our country this spring with him, getting to know what he’s like as a competitor and as a person just ups that respect that I already had for him.’

With two games to go the Astros’ need to pep up themselves... With or with out Clemens in the next two game they definitely need to perform if they want to remain in contention.
