He was born on 4th of Feb. in the year 1912, on the family farm, he started playing golf in 1922 as a caddie at Glen Garden Country Club in Fort Worth...And latter went on to become one of the greatest player’s ever in the history of American Golf.
Bryon Nelson, the American Golf legend has died at the age of 94 in his native Texas...He was a five time major winner... He is well known for winning 18 tour titles in 1945... That includes a record of winning 11 consecutive tournaments ...He was popularly known as ‘Lord Byron’ for his graceful swing and tender ways; he had won 31 out of the 54 tournaments that he played in1944 and 1945... Nelson was named male athlete of the year in 1944.

Though Nelson’s death has been confirmed...The reason for it is not yet known... He was indeed a great athlete and a great person...He was a true legend and was loved and respected by all...May the soul of this legend rest in peace.
