It seems, Lewis Hamilton’s luck is not with him. After winning a pole position in the Chinese grand prix, most of the experts were sure that he would be crowned the next Formula 1 champion in China itself but sadly Hamilton retired mid way through the race and has given hope to two-time world champion Fernando Alonso to once again win the world championship.
No doubt, Hamilton is still leading Alonso by four points with one race to go but any mistake there and it’s all over for Hamilton.
I still think that Hamilton will win the Formula 1 championship this season but you can’t count out Alonso because he is a terrific driver. The last race of the season will be held in Sao Paulo on 21st of this month.
Coming to Chinese grand prix, Hamilton retired because of a pit- lane error after starting quite well in the initial stage of the race. Kimi Raikkonen has a mixed fortune this season.
Sometimes he is brilliant, other times ordinary but in China he was brilliant and win the race quite comfortably. Fernando Alonso comes second.
If Hamilton manages to finish first or second in Sao Paulo, he will not only become the youngest Formula 1 champion but also first of African or Caribbean descent.
