The ABC television exposed the copies of the phone taps that accuse West Coast midfielder Daniel Kerr and former Eagles Aaron Edwards who now plays for the Kangaroos to be involved in a drug deal.

The tapes assumedly reveal Daniel Kerr to have bought the drug ‘ketamine’ from Shane Carl Waters a drug trader in Melbourne for a game against Geelong in August 2003.

Daniel can be heard on the tape disclosing the effects of the drug to Shane Waters:

Yeah, it was f—ed. It turned all pear-shaped. I swear to God. I couldn’t even sleep it was that bad, It turned all f—ing weird like everyone was ... I basically didn’t know where I was and shit like that

.

This outbreak further deepens the problems for the West Coast that was already reeling with the suspension of the former captain Ben Cousins‘ following his drug problem.

The AFL lament over not knowing anything about police taps until last night, but wish to cooperate with the police investigation in every possible manner and wish to speak to Victoria Police about the matter.

This isn’t the first occasion when the West Coast Eagles player has been accused of using drugs, there have been instances that date back to 2001.
